Pastors, be sure you are building God's people for the Kingdom and not building your own kingdom. Recognize and affirm your leaders that serve within your ministry. Real leaders present ideas, reasons and possibilities that have never been tried before. They constantly step out of their comfort zones, say things that are unpopular and discomforting; but in most cases their initiatives affect the lives of many people. (i.e. Cosby, Oprah, Gates)
Most leaders have different styles, but they all have one thing in common; a passion for change. They have courage; they take risks that lead to extraordinary feats of daring. Some leaders are well known; some are not – but, they all assume the responsibility for making dreams happen against the odds.
Some leaders are born, others are made. But, true leaders stand out because they are not conformists who “go along to get along.” They set the agenda rather than follow it.
So, continue to allow them be Leaders!
